Have you recycled all your Amazon boxes and can't bear to drag yourself down to the post office? The San Francisco on-demand shipping service "Shyp" is now available in NYC.

Just open the Shyp app and snap some pics of the item you want to ship anywhere in the world, and Shyp will pick the item up, package it, and send it on its way. Shyp charges $5 for packaging and pick-up, then adds in the price of the most appropriate shipping option based on the size and weight of the item to be shipped. Be sure to check the map on Shyp's blog post because the pick-up service is currently only available in parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Currently iOS only - use promo code SHYPNY for a $10 credit towards your first shipment.
