The NYPD nabbed a gunslinger on Staten Island after a group tried to snag a free ride on the city bus.

With a recent focus on decreasing crime in the infamous Park Hill section of Staten Island, the NYPD had their eyes out for suspicious behavior, and three men attempting to beat the fare on the S76 bus was enough to catch the attention of officers assigned to watch the bus route. As the police approached, the group split up, but all three were apprehended, and one was found carrying the concealed silver revolver.

It remains to be seen if the gun will be tied to any other crimes after forensic testing is done.
