FDNY Firehouses Open Today

If you've ever walked past an FDNY firehouse and wondered if there really are dalmatians and firepoles hidden inside, then today is your day! All FDNY stations will be open to visitors on May 14, 2016 from 11am–1pm or 1pm–3pm.

Check the official map of locations to find when your local fire station or EMS station will be open, or plan out a whole day of visiting a few different locations.

You'll be able to meet FDNY firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs, learn fire safety tips, tour the station, and view demonstrations of what the workers do every day to keep the city safe.
