Expect more protest action tonight at Prospect Park, as Resist Trump New York will be showing up at Chuck Schumer's front door.

The group has organized an event called "What the F*ck, Chuck?" for tonight, January 31, 2017 at 6pm near the Grand Army Plaza library in Park Slope to protest Democratic Senator Schumer's voting record on the Trump Administration's appointees. Schumer has voted "Yes" on appointees for Defense Secretary, Homeland Security Secretary, C.I.A., and U.S. ambassador to the U.N., leading constituents to question whether Schumer was as opposed to a Trump presidency as he claimed in public, such as when giving a speech at last weekend's Battery Park rally.

Schumer has since joined with other Democrats to boycott voting sessions and thereby delay other appointees from taking office, which could add a less adversarial atmosphere to tonight's protest (or maybe he found strength through the spines that protesters dropped at his door) The Facebook page for the protest currently has 4,200 people pledging to go, but organizers have so far been cautious in saying around 1,000 will attend.
