AGBC Front Yard: Hm, That Looks New

Mystery location

Front Yard is our location guessing game! Get to know the city better and explore our collective "front yard" that's made of all the city's outdoor locations. Each photo shows a street view within the five boroughs — We've tried to crop out any identifying characteristics, but there may still be some hints hidden in there somewhere!

Well, this park looks new... In fact, this whole street looks new! A very green and comfy addition to the neighborhood. It's interesting to see how new parks are constructed, since many city parks have been around for hundreds of years. Those buildings at the end of the street look a bit more "old New York", but this area is very empty, with no foot traffic in sight. What do you think? Can you guess this location based on any of the hints in the photo?

Answer:

If you could identify today's location, you must have been an intrepid explorer of NYC's newest neighborhood: Hudson Yards! The park is at the corner of West 35th and Hudson Boulevard, and the park's name is (appropriately) Hudson Yards Park. Once completed, Hudson Yards Park will stretch from West 33rd to West 33rd to West 39th, on both sides of Hudson Boulevard, and contain two entrances to the '7' Train extension.
