Beginning Tuesday, August 29th, residents from Northwest Queens will have a new transit option.

The NYC Ferry Astoria line will take passengers on an East River adventure, making five total stops along Manhattan, Queens, and Roosevelt Island.

From Astoria to 34th Street will take 29 minutes, and the full length of the new route to Wall Street will take 47 minutes.

Here are the five stops:

  • Astoria at 3-10 Astoria Blvd
  • Roosevelt Island at the base of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge
  • Long Island City at 47th Road / Gantry Plaza State Park
  • East 34th Street at the FDR — Free shuttle bus to Midtown
  • Wall Street / Pier 11

Did the rolling waves of the East River stoke a sense of longing for the open seas? Hop on the East River ferry at 34th Street and continue on to Dumbo or connect with the Rockaway route at Wall Street and whisk away to the beach for the day!

Scroll to the bottom of the Astoria line page for full details on each of the ferry stops, including connecting buses and subway lines.
