Bushwick, Brooklyn
πŸ› 4 bedΒ Β πŸ› 1.5 bath
$3,600 per month

With a small family or four roommates, this new apartment would be $900 per bedroom!

Some Bushwick buildings have been renovating their apartments in hopes of attracting new residents looking to move to the area, but this is an entirely new building, built so recently that Google Street View only has a photo of it during construction. The finishes are very modern, in a gray/black/white theme, with stainless steel appliances and bright white paint that will let your furnishings shine like they're being displayed in a gallery.

The listing by Native Real Estate is for apartment #1F, which likely means it's the front apartment at street level, but hopefully the location means there won't be much vehicle or pedestrian traffic passing by your window. Two bedrooms face the front and two seem to be on a lower level with smaller windows and less light, but are likely to be very quiet if they are partially below ground. There is a backyard patio area that looks to be a shared space for the entire building.

Harman Street is up-and-coming in the best way, with only parking lots, a carpentry shop, and other smaller residential buildings nearby to keep noise down, but it is still only a block and a half away from the Myrtle Avenue commercial district.

The nearest park is Maria Hernandez Park, about six blocks away, where you can work out, read a book, or just enjoy a bit of fresh air.

Need to escape the neighborhood? You have your choice between the 'M' Train at Knickerbocker and Myrtle and the 'L' Train at DeKalb and Wyckoff, both within 2-3 blocks.
