Multiple People Shot In Midtown Manhattan

Police responded to a crime scene around 5pm Sunday in the West 30s at Broadway where multiple people have been shot.
Update: Wednesday, January 24 — The NYPD released photos of two suspects wanted in the shooting, which was described as an altercation over an earlier drug deal.

The location took place at 34 West 31st Street, outside a Hyatt hotel and a small liquor store and is near Herald Square and the Empire State Building, but thankfully there were no panicked crowds on this sidestreet location. Police are following up on information to try and find out the cause of the dispute. Eyewitnesses reported seeing two men fighting just before the sound of about four gunshots. Two suspects are wanted after fleeing toward Fifth Avenue after the shooting. Two of the three victims shot appear to have been bystanders. All three victims are in stable condition and were described as follows: A 43-year-old man with a shoulder wound, a 25-year-old man with an arm wound, and a 29-year-old man with a wound to the back.
Expect a large police presence in Midtown as they investigate the crime scene on West 31st between Broadway and Fifth.
Update from the NYPD press conference: Dispute between two males took place at 34 West 31st Street, and one opened fire. Three victims were shot, but are in stable condition. Police are looking for two males, but did not release any security camera footage or further information.
