We dare you to enter the Haunted House in Hollis where you're sure to have an eerie fright you wont forget. As goblins & ghouls and hungry zombies try to get a piece of you, make your way through this horrific maze and into the experimental lab where all things go wrong. Or, opt to take the family friendly route if you're too scared (or have small children). Having been set up by the most imaginative people on the planet, you definitely won't be disappointed and you'll want to come back every year.  -There are two different mazes located adjacent to each other, whereas a sign will depict which route leads to which maze. -For children under the age of 10 admission is only $5, may pay at door -Print ticket and bring to haunted house on the day of your choice.   -No specific date is required to reserve entry. Sensory Fun In The Sun Halloween Spooktacular Adventure

The Halloween season can be an especially trying time of year for anyone with sensitivies to loud noises or flashing lights, so this Spooktacular Adventure will feature activities where children can explore the five senses while being guided by licensed Occupational Therapists.

Children should wear their costumes *** These fun filled sensory groups will stimulate children’s 5 senses (touch, sight, smell, hearing, and taste) including 2 other unique senses vestibular (sense of movement) and proprioceptive (sense of where your body is in space). Children will also practice problem solving, sequencing, coordinating both sides of the body together, fine and gross motor skills. Experienced group leaders are licensed Occupational Therapists who will guide children as they embark on a sensory journey. Children will navigate obstacle courses, explore various textures and exercise their muscles to increase strength,stability and mobility. These groups also offer opportunities for peer interaction, team building and increased self confidence.


Pumpkin Patch At Queens Botanical Garden

If your front porch is missing a smiling jack o'lantern, then swing by the Queens Botanical Garden before the big day and pick your own pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. There are also other photo opportunities around the garden including a painted backdrop, a maze, and lots of fall foods.

For even more fun, attend the Queens Botanical Garden's pumpkin carving instructional and sip some pumpkin ale.
