More patients in and around NYC test negative for the new coronavirus

Updates on our Health Page drastically decrease the number of patients under observation in the NYC area.

There is now only one case remaining under observation within the city, and five under observation in New Jersey, four of those being individuals who were on the Anthem of the Seas cruise ship that docked in Bayonne on February 7th. All five patients in New Jersey had previously traveled to China and are under observation while the CDC tests to see if they are sick with the new coronavirus or if they simply have unrelated pneumonia or seasonal flu.

Previous possible cases in NY State, three previous cases within NYC, one in NJ, and two in Connecticut have also all tested negative.
