Holocaust Remembrance Day

An international day of remembrance honoring those lost to the Holocaust of World War II, scheduled to commemorate the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp on January 27, 1945.

In the U.S., a separate eight-day period called Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust (DRVH) occurs in April, to coincide with Yom HaShoah, the Israeli day of remembrance.
