Two window-washers become stranded on 1WTC when cables malfunction on their movable platform

The men were near the 69th floor of the newly-opened building when suspension cables went loose and allowed the platform to drop at a steep angle. Firefighters had to cut through the building's glass to pull the workers inside after a two-hour rescue operation.
