The Concorde makes its final commercial flight from JFK Airport to London, ending the era of supersonic travel
That flight joined two other planes in London to ceremonially land one after another at Heathrow airport. The Concorde on display at the Intrepid museum in Manhattan was designated model G-BOAD and was the plane used on the record-setting transatlantic flight from New York to London on February 7, 1993.
