Eleven motorcycle riders are convicted, 55 motorcycles seized, and one rider was permanently paralyzed after being hit by the driver as he tried to flee the attack. The attack also brought to light the participation of NYPD officers in the bike gang, including 13-year veteran of the force Wojciech Braszczok who was sentenced to two years in jail for his participation in the attack by shattering the vehicle's rear window and refusing to intervene in the attack.
