Situated next to Thomas A. Edison High School, this jointly-operated playground can be used by the public and the school. Named for Joseph Austin, a longtime area resident and youth sports coach. Stop by the area in June or August and you will see the World's longest footrace taking place, when participants loop around the park and high school to achieve 3,100 miles, which takes at least 46 days to complete!
