Purple Playground

Purple Playground [OpenStreetMap]

A fun playground carved out of a larger piece of undeveloped land that sits along busy Prospect Expressway. A large retaining wall and park fence protects the playground from the expressway, which sits nearly two stories lower as it cuts through the neighborhood. Inside the playground, there is a lot of open space, a set of playground equipment, and two beautiful old trees on the south side that provide shade and keep the equipment cool to the touch.

A very small playground at 17 Street between 5 Avenue and 6 Avenue in Brooklyn
