Photos and video from The Stonewall Inn as New York passes marriage equality

As the New York State Senate began voting on the marriage equality bill, the celebration was already beginning in front of The Stonewall Inn in the West Village.

The vote was going to pass or fail on a narrow margin, and there were rumors circulating about which Senators may be changing their vote and whether there would be enough ‘yea’ votes to pass the bill. Not long after, the necessary number of votes came through, and the celebration began!
