Potential Suicide Jumper is Rescued on the Brooklyn Bridge
FDNY and NYPD respond on the Brooklyn Bridge
Tragedy averted today on the Brooklyn Bridge – an emotionally disturbed man made his way on to the Brooklyn Bridge from the Brooklyn / Cadman Plaza side, threatening to commit suicide.

The FDNY and NYPD were able to talk the man down and prevent him from jumping and placed him in an ambulance to get medical attention.

The only consequence was a bit of a back-up in Brooklyn-bound traffic as the emergency responders moved into position on the Brooklyn side of the bridge.
