Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels April 28th NYC Flyover Honors Coronavirus Workers

Coming up on Tuesday, April 28th, the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds will fly over New York to honor "COVID-19 responders and essential workers".
The 12 aircraft will begin their flyover performance at noon, with further details on their flight plan to be released the day before the performance. To counteract people traveling to parks or open areas to watch the flights, the press release suggests that the performance will be visible across both NYC and Newark, so even if you're snuggled away in your apartment, be aware that you may hear the sky rip open as fighter jets visit your neighborhood skies.

The performance will bring some of the spirit of Fleet Week to the city, which typically takes place during this time of year, but all 2020 Fleet Week events and exhibitions have been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
After the NY/NJ flyover, the group will depart for Trenton for a 1:45pm performance and then Philadelphia at 2pm.
