New York wasn’t always the Starbucks-and-concrete grid that you walk every day; there was a time when Manhattan was rolling hills and farm houses. Stop by Bryant Park today and take a trip back to that era!

To promote wool as an environmentally-friendly and sustainable textile, the Campaign for Wool has brought sheep to the park as part of Wool Week. It looks like the sheep have mainly gathered together in the middle of their pen, so it may not be the petting zoo experience that you’re hoping for, but it’s still a lot of fun to see some livestock roaming around the Bryant Park field.
