A hatchet-wielding man attacks four NYPD officers on Jamaica Avenue in Queens

Two officers were hurt and the other two fired shots at the attacker, killing him and wounding a nearby pedestrian. Information gathered from the attacker's computer and online activity led officials to classify the attack as an act of terror.
